Mrs. Clint Roberds Died Last Friday
Three Rivers – Mrs. Clint Roberds, 75, who had been a resident here the past seven years, died about 9AM Friday, February 10, 1967, in a local hospital after a short illness.
A native of Alabama, she was a member of China Creek Baptist Church, San Saba.
Funeral services were at 2PM Sunday in the Brice Funeral Chapel. The Reverend Chris Walker, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Three Rivers Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Hamp and J. A. Roberds, both of Three Rivers and G.E. and Carl Roberds, both of Fort Worth; four daughters, Mrs. J. D. Howard and Mrs. H. A. Murray, both of Aransas Pass and Mrs. R. S. Barkley and Mrs. Dora Breeding, both of Three Rivers; two sisters, Mrs. Francis Mayo of San Antonio and Mrs. Sarah Myrick of Bowie; five brothers, Leve and Pete Simpson, both of Fort Worth, Josh Simpson of Denison, Labe Simpson of Lake Jackson, and Mode Simpson of Bakersfield, California; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
