Not my family, but name Danneberg and year 1886 lead me to believe someone by that name died in Limestone Co, TX in 1886, so went looking.

On Find a Grave I found C.F.L. Danneberg 1818-1866, and his wife buried in the Mexia City Cemetery. No photos of their headstone posted, yet, but someone has posted inscription from his headstone:

Inscription:
Principal of the Music Dept of Trinity University for many years.
"Adieu, dear husband the parting hour has come on earth, we part in sorrow to meet in Bliss above. Louise

I did a quick Google search and it looks like that university is still there. I would try contacting them, see if they have any history, records or even know where you might look for his obit.
