I have a great-grandmother, Keziah White, who married a Winston Adams in in 1870 Falls county, and moved her family to his home in Kosse area. He had a son, John "Quincy" Adams. The Q looks like a Z. The census taker messed up on my great -grandmother's name, calling her "Gaziah", then someone else put "Josiah" in the Index and tried to erase the F in the sex column and put M, because there are some ignorant people, especially those who take censuses. Hope this helps.
