Hi,

1880 Headville, Limestone, TX
M. H. Lowery, head, b. GA, 62, farmer
N. R., wife, b. AL, 48
Laura H., b. TX, 13
Melissa A., b. TX, 12
Sallie, b. TX, 8
Melinda Stephenson, stepdau, b. TX, 17
Asher Smith, grandson, b. TX, 6
Robert Jones, none,. b. TX, 18
J. G. Lowery, son, b. TX, 23

I checked Ancestry and FamilySearch for his death but I didn't find it.

Morgan henry Lowery
Born: 1818 Franklin, Georgia
Died: 1890 in Limestone Co., TX
Source: Woolweaver Family Tree, ancestry.com however there isn't a source for the death info.

Most larger public libraries provide free access to Ancestry if you have a local library card.

I looked through all of the indexed cemeteries at Tombston Transcription Project, http://usgwtombstones.org/texas/limestone.html and didn't find Morgan or Nancy.

Here's lists of the indexed cemeteries that I didn't investigate:
Limestone County, Texas Archives, www.usgwarchives.net/tx/limestone/limecemetery.html

Cemeteries of Limestone County Texas, www.cemeteries-of-tx.com/Etx/Limestone/ListLimestone.html

Interment.net Limestone County Cemetery Records

He's not listed in findagrave.com.

You can contact the Limestone County Clerk, www.co.limestone.tx.us/default.aspx?Limestone_County/ and ask them how far back do their death records go. Some death records contain burial info and some don't.

Estray, Probate, Will and Tax records are on microfilm at Baylor University, www.tsl.state.tx.us/arc/local/limestone.html. You can't request the microfilm but your local public library can.

The Central Texas Genealogical Society, www.ctgs.org/ might be able to help with an obituary. Successful Searching!
