Isaiah Poore and his wife Amilia Ann Carrol moved from Claiborne County, Tennessee to Leon County, Texas between 1873-1875. They had children John B. Poore b 1871, Charles Poore b 1873, Jerome Poore b 1875, Dolly Poore b 1877, and Mary E. Poore b 1880.

Amilia's sister Margaret Jane Carrol and her husband William Center Hart also moved from Claiborne County, Tennessee but landed nearby in Limestone County, Texas.

Amilia's parents John J. Carrol and wife Mary Jane Sawyers along with Amilia's sister Mary F. Carrol are also enumerated in Leon County, Texas in 1880 census.

What proof or family story can be found to prove that the above listed Charlie Poore is the same man who married Emma Mae Choate in Limestone County? How many Charlie Poores were in the area?
