Gary, Your post of 2003 that I just now found interests me because my great-grandfather was a Hiram Ragsdale b 1815 somewhere in Tennessee. I descend through his son Cain but his youngest son was Hiram C Ragsdale who was also born in TN, in 1850. My great-grandfather Hiram lived and died in Williamson Co TN and after his death I think everybody scattered. Mine went to Humphreys Co TN, the rest I don't know. Just the other day I found a Hiram C on the 1900 census for Navarro Co TX and just at the right age to be my great uncle. Do you know anything at all about the one on the 1900 Navarro Co TX census?

Sue
