Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

He's listed on the Find a Grave site, but no photo posted at this time. You can request someone take a photo.

Go to the site -- http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi -- since his name is unusual I just entered his first and last names and clicked on search. Up comes a match, click on his name and you'll see a place where you can request a photo be taken. Hopefully someone will see the request and respond for you.

As for an obit, you might try the public library in the area. If they don't have back issues of the local newspaper they should know who would.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
