I am seeking information on four Holland Children:Emma Eugenia b. 12.5.1847, William H. B. 1850, James Thomas b. 8.15.1852 and Lula b. 8.6.1854. They were orphaned at an early age. They were all born in Choctaw Co. AL. There parent were Henry Holland and Nancy Horn Holland. The children came with relatives to Leon Co. probably after 1860 but before 1866. Emma Eugenia married Samuel L. Tyler Mar. 6, 1866 in Leon Co. Lula married John Leavell Nov. 27, 1870 in Leon Co. William H. may have married a Kate Perkins in Leon Co. Lula Holland may have been living with a Jerra and E.W. Horn at the time of the 1870 census.
They may have lived in or near Jewett. Lula and John Leavell were members of Sardis Bapist Church. Any information on these people is much appreciated. Emma was my great grandmother. Jerra may be Jere or Jermiah. His wife E. W. Horn the E may stand for Elizabeth and she may have been called Bessie. Millicent Horn, the children's aunt, married a Irvine Barnes and they also moved from AL. to Leon Co. Zilla Horn, another aunt, married Orson McDaniel and they also moved from AL. to Leon Co. Any information that might be provided would be appreciated.
