I think your people maay be in the line of my uncleBob Robinson. as I can rember him saying the paper was started by his people. Thay have been in Jewett a long time. his great grand father was with sam Houston when we fought Mexico. The jewett Messinger is now owned by Peggy Robinson you might ask her for info
