James M. Hinson(Jim) and Elizabeth J.Hudson (Lizzie) are listed on the 1900 Leon Co.census. They came to Leon Co. from NC abt. 1890 for which no census exist. They came by wagon train where they stopped first in Ga. They picked up more families for the trip. They had three daughters: Eva S. Hinson, Minnie Viletti Hinson, and Adella Hinson. All born between 1872 and 1883. On the 1900 Leon Co. census Adella 16 and her new husband John Brown with one month old baby Marshall Lee live next. Henry Brown and his wife Mamie live there too. The Browns were from Ga. and Mamie's folks were from Al. Adella and John Brown would later have several more children, an Ona and a Mary Helen Brown are two. I think that I found Mamie Brown on a Limestone Census in 1920, she is widowed with children. I know that Adella Brown lived in Houston for a while, but I think that some of her descendents still live in or near Leon Co. I do not know what current last names would be? I would love to find these cousins and exchange information with them. Does anyone recognize these people or have suggestions? Karen Moore Kerr
