Willis Holton and Bell Family

I am looking for a connection between Willis Holton and a Bell family living in Lee County. Here is what I know from census records....

1900 census in Lee County has Amanda Bell age 53 with her children Louis and William H Bell. Also in the household is Amanda's daughter Lillie with her husband Herman Fitzner with their children Leonard and Amber. Also in the house is Willis Holton and his brother Frank Holton and they are listed as boarders. Frank Holton is my grandfather.

1910 census in Lee County has W.H. Bell age 28 with his family that includes wife Lottie and children Eva, Minnie, and Virgil. Also is M.A. Bell listed as mother and Willis Holton boarder.

1920 census in Lee County has Willis Holton as head of household with no one else living in the house. Although next door is Leonard Fitzner and wife Lottie.

1930 census in Lee County has Willie H Bell age 48 with his family and Willis Holton who is listed as uncle.

I have researched my Holton family and know a lot about them and to my knowledge Willis Holton was never married. It sure looks like he might have had a relationship with Amanda Bell. If anyone has any information I would love to know it.

Thanks, Jane
