Dear all,
Looking for any death and/or burial information on my gg grandfather who was listed as living in Hopkins Co., Texas in 1870 as John W. Osteen. He was there with his wife, Heatha Jane Gassett Osteen and children, By 1880, his wife was widowed living in Lee, Texas. So, I assume he died between 1870-1880 and maybe in Lee Co., Texas.

Cannot find any death or burial records on him in Hopkins Co., Texas so maybe, they had moved on to Lee Co. before he passed away. The family seems to have moved a lot (Georgia to Florida, back to Georgia, and on to Texas). Some trees have him and others dying in Pennsylvania but that does not make sense.

Thank you for any connections.

Flynn Fuller
