Looking for information on the location of the Millsaps homestead. He and wife Mary Millsaps and their children moved there in 1835. He was killed in the Alamo. They are referred to in some documents as being a neighbor of Andrew Kent. Lavaca County Road One now goes through the Kent land between Hallettsville and Ezzell. After the Runaway Scrape, Mary was unable to reclaim the land, and she died in 1842, (believed) in Harris County.
