We are trying to find Dr. Samuel Burling Dickinson's family Bible. His wife was Caroline Elizabeth Kinnison Dickinson. She lived to be 107 years old and died 29 May 1926. They were some of the early, pioneer settlers of Texas and eventually settled on a ranch near Terryville in DeWitt county near the Lavaca county line. They had 11 children, 10 of whom survived to adulthood (6 males; 4 females). Some of their descendants still live in Texas. If anyone has any clues where their family Bible might be, please let us know. We are developing a web site in honor of them, their ancestors, and their descendants. Information in their family Bible would be very helpful and very interesting for posting on the web site. Thanks.
