D.C. Pennell 1860 Lavaca county TX

Anyone know who the wife of a D.C. Pennell was her first name was Rachel they had 2 children on 1860 census Julia 4 and Wilford 2. I did find them again living with Rachel Pennell but her age and birthplace did not match the Rachel Pennell on 1860 census. The one on 1860 census was born AL the other on 1870 census was born SC . I believe this Rachel may be the Rachel Rhode buried in Old Shiloh Cemetery . She was Rachel Easterling then married a John Rhode in MS had 2 children by him and another son by a David Traxler . I have found marriage records from MS for both these marriages . Any info about a marriage to a Pennell in Lavaca county about mid 1850s would appreciate .
