Yes, that is my grandparents and 5 of the children listed. In 1902 they moved to Nordheim, Texas and had more children - Willie, Johnny, Emma, Louise, Meta, Hermine (my mother) and another infant Amelia born dead. So my mother is the youngest in the family. She remembers her mother speaking of this infant buried near Shiner (is how she referred to it). I have been looking for years and will never give up. My grandparents were good Lutherans that took care of business and I just feel like that grave is out there somewhere, but I can't find it. I know where the land is in Shiner that they purchased and farmed and I have spoken to the owner and he says he has not seen a grave on his place, but there is a very old farm house still on it and he thinks it very well could be 100 years old which I feel like is where my grandparents lived. I could go on and on. I have looked in the Charlottenburg cemetary and the Breslau cemetary by just walking it, because these were 2 towns that my aunts spoke of. There are so many cemetaries in that area, that I don't think I will ever find it. Thank you so much for you interest!
