Hi Ruby: I am also researching the Riley and Tucker Families who were, at one time, in Lavaca County.

In fact, I just today got a copy of Timon William Riley and Mary Matilda Tucker's death certificates. I will be glad to share with you anything that I have.

I have one particular puzzle that I would like to solve. In puttering around the different genealogy sites I found marriage records for Lavaca County. I show a marriage between T. William(Tyman) Riley and Mary Matilda Tucker in Lavaca County on August 17, 1865 and they were supposedly together their entire lives. Then I found another marriage between Timan Riley and a "Queen A Castellaw" dated August 8, 1883. Possibly, there was a nephew or cousin with this name?????

Mary Matilda Tucker was raised by her uncle Axexius Tucker when her parents and sister died of Cholera on their trip from Perry County Missouri to Texas.
