Looking for information on Ireney Boyd who
married J. W. Short in 1827, Franklin Co., MO
On 1870 Lampasas Co. census. Listed as being
60 years old and living with her son, George
W. (23 yo) and her grandchildren, Squire H.
(9 yo) and Louisa E. (7 yo). In 1880, she
was living alone. Sold property in 1884 to
W. S. Abbott. Two of her sons were rather
"notorious" in the county -- Mark and George
W. ("Wash").
