From the Lampasas Leader, Oct. 6, 1899. "City Marshall Horrell left Sunday morning for Nashville, Tennessee, where he will spend some time in completing a course in dentistry, having been a student for a year or more under Drs. Ratliff & Lee. Mrs. Horrell will spend time with telatives in the far west, and our Sam will return a full fledged dentist. . . "
