I was in error in saying that Thomas was in Lampasas. As he died in 1863 and the Bryce/Lyman families did not move to Lampasas until abt 1870-71. William was the Brice in Lampasas city government. All the families moved together but not Mary Elizabeth Young Brice and Daughter Maria. Start your seach in Bastrop again... Sorry for the mis information
