Thanks so much for your reply and I am hoping that it is the one I am looking for....My Ida was born 1877, unknown location(which your information matches)the only thing I have is that they married in 1893. I just took a trip to Paris, Texas and looked in records hoping to find something and the only thing I found was the marriage license which had written on it,in pencil; not to be published and the father of the bride was to pick it up. They married in January and he picked up in March. Strange huh? I don't believe it was a shotgun wedding. The question I have is where is Atacosa, TX? Everything else matched I believe and what a wonder that would be. Malissa was a Irwin, Irvin, Erwin according to my older brother. Dad told him about her and he is sure it was one of those as far as her last name. Could be that her Mother married more than once. I did find a T.J. Simpson who was buried in Lamar Co., Texas other than that I have nothing except what you have found and posted. Thanks so much. Judi
