Bonnie B. Dye, 94, of Paris passed away Monday, Aug. 14, 2006, in Paris Regional Medical Center.

Private graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Providence Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Felts officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

The family receives friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

She was born May 3, 1912, in Lamar County, a daughter of W.D. and Amanda Coker Meeks. She was a beautician for more than 50 years, was president of the New Mexico Cosmetologists, and was a member of East Paris Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Grafford Cobb and wife, Mincie, of Powderly, Jerry Smallwood and wife, Joyce, of Paris; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She has joined her friend, Elizabeth Risinger and is survived by close friend, Faye Ausmus of Paris, and Bruce and Renee Hardison of Hobbs, N.M.

If desired, in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
