Jack, there was another Templeton family that lived in Lamar County, TX, during Civil War and after. Descendants of Robert Templeton from South Carolina. His wife was Jemima Templeton. They moved from SC to Tippah Co., MS, to Arkansas, to Lamar County, TX. Robert was not with family when they came to Lamar Co. Jemima then married my 2nd Great-grandfather Ira Colbert and they had daughter Theodosia Texas Colbert, b. ca. 1872. They Templeton's then moved to Coleman Co., Tx.
