Hi,

You are smart to research this before you go. I went to Paris about 6 weeks ago to do the same thing you are planning. I found the following site and it was so helpful in pinpointing exactly where I needed to visit.

One note, after visiting several tiny cemeteries on my way to Paris, I was shocked when I drove up to the Evergreen Cemetery in Paris. It has 30,000 graves! And I had no clue where "my" graves were located! Luckily the caretaker was there and he graciously pulled the old records and directed me to the grave I needed. He even made me copies of the burial records which gave me some interesting information I didn't know before.

You might also try contacting the cemetery association in charge of the cemetery you are going to visit. Many times even smaller cemeteries will have records they will share.

Happy Hunting,

Erin
