Hopefully by now you found what you wanted, but if not maybe this will help. I noted the information was just posted in 2010 on the Find a Grave site. It is growing and we have to go back and check from time to time.

Click on search for a cemetery, enter Turscott, state of Texas and up comes a match. Click on cemetery and then enter surname of Bates. You'll not only see double headstone for Byron and his wife Mattie but other Bates buried there, also. Some lovely headstones. You might contact the lady who entered the information.
