I would like to obtain an obituary and any other information about Ben Smith, affectionately known as "Uncle Ben". He lived next to me at 840 Earl Garrett St. with his neice, Miss Nellie Smith. I believe he died during the summer of 1942.
Uncle Ben and his partner, Rufus King, were beekeepers. When I was very young I spent all of my spare time watching them take care of the bees. Uncle Ben also played golf once a week and fished occasionally using his folding canvas boat.
I would like to know anything about him and Rufus King. Who were his fishing and golfing buddies and anything else about them?
