TB Sanitarium in Kerrville?

Was there a TB sanitarium in or near Kerrville in 1899? My gr-gr-uncle died 4 Nov 1899 and is buried in Kerrville. He was 25 years old. I have been to Kerrville and done research. The family moved there from Lampasas and was not there very long. It has been suggested to me that quite possibly they were there because he was a TB patient.
Thanks for your help.
