Hi Stacy,

good for you, sounds like you are making progress. I got out my book and the article in it is about Captain Thomas Bunkley Clubb. He was born in GA and became a sea captain when only 21 years old. He married Maria Carr in 1884 (this date is an obvious error) and they lived on Taylor's Bayou, near Beaumont. Maria's health was poor so they moved to a higher climate. They moved to Uvalde Co. in 1876 with their two married daughters and their families. Their children listed who survived to adulthood: W. C. Clubb, Sarah Mc Gowan, Mary Goodbread, Agnes Humphreys, Elva White and Laura Clubb.
