I am trying to find some information on Bethel Mayberry Green that was born 1864 in Texas. On the census It has his father born Indiana, mother came from Georga.May have a brother B.F.Green. Bethel and B.F Green were in Stonewall co. Tx in 1880. They were original land owners later there.
The story goes that they were orphaned at a very young age. Bethel was about 12 years old. Cowboys found them on the prarie wandering around. They took them to the Hittson ranch headquarters. Where they stayed and worked.
Any information on these people would be appreciated!
