I am researching Christian Brandt, B.ab.10/24/1844, died in Boerne,Tx. 3/3/1937,married to Emma Blieder. He served in Texas Rangers 10-1870 thru 6-1871. My records list him being born in Jefforn,Germany(possibly Gifhorn, Germany?)and came to Texas around 1858..
