Looking for more information on the Athertons of Kaufman County. I have been researching Cora Lee Houston b. 1898 Carthage, Panola Co TX (d/o Martilla A. Warren and Cicero Irvin Houston) who seems to have married James Franklin Atherton b. 1889 PA d. 2 Dec 1968 Gun Barrel City, Kaufman. They married around 1918 (I've not seen marriage index but am going by kids ages). They were in 1920, 1930 census for Kaufman County. I believe they may have divorced as I think Cora Lee (Houston) Atherton then married a Lee Carter and lived in Seagoville Dallas Co TX. the remainder of her life. DOES ANYBODY OUT THERE RECOGNIZE THIS FAMILY?
