I have been asked to research the families of those buried at Long Creek Cemetery, Dallas County, Texas for their 150 anniversary. I have started a listing at.

The following family has ties to Kaufman County, Texas.

a short list of the Guynes surname are:

GUYNES: Henry M. Apr. 3, 1861 - Sept. 28, 1931 (Double Marker)
GUYNES: Irene (CLARK) Jan. 8, 1865 - Oct. 19, 1953

GUYNES: Oliver M. Jan. 23, 1886 - Sept. 28, 1931
GUYNES: John Oscar 1887 - 1969 (Double Marker)
GUYNES: Beulah A. 1887 - 1967
GUYNES: William D. Sept. 29, 1911 - Aug. 3, 1970 Sgt. U.S. Marine Corps WW II
