Caldwell, Jasper Robins (05 May 1925- 11 May 1945)
(son of Robert Benjamin Caldwell and Ruth Vernet Hall)
I have found two identical bronze military markers for him.
CALDWELL: Jasper R. (Military) ARM1 U.S. Navy World War II Purple Heart May 5, 1925 - May 11, 1945
One is located at Long Creek Cemetery at the foot of his fatherís grave and the other is at The Bennett Family Cemetery (now known as the Bennett Memorial Garden within Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite, Tx) near two memorial benches. From their placement at both cemeteries, date of death and Purple Heart listed on markers, each may be a memorial marker instead of a grave marker?
