My ggrandparents and some of their descendents were in Kaufman Co. from the late 1840s to at least the 1930s. Some identifying info. is:
My ggrandfather: Robert Franklin McCormick, b.6/9/1848 in KY, d.7/16/1918 in Kaufman Co, married Lydia A. Vance b.11/17/1851, d.11/5/1895.

My ggrandfather: Marcus Alexander Averitt, b.1837 in TN, d.12/13/1891 in Kaufman Co., married Mary Elizabeth Ward, b.8/12/1854, d.4/8/1922.
