2- John Turner in Kaufman Co.TX, Both in Civil War ????

I am in desperate need for someone to do research for me in Kaufman Co. I have documents on 2 different JOHN TURNER of
Kaufman Co. both served in Civil war,
one enlisted in Kaufman Co. The other enlisting in Sebastain Co. Ark. and coming to Kaufman Co. Tx after the war.This one was in Kaufman Co from 1867 to 1904 which time he applied for a cw pension.
Is there a Historical Commission, or Genealogy Society in Kaufman Co ?????
I remember a lady named Marie, who was from Kemp,Tx. she used to do research, but I have lost contact with her over the years.
