Hello Alice,
I'm not sure how much help I can be, I don't have much information. I can tell you that my gggrandmother's sister married a John Turner, in Kaufman County. Her name was Hannah Dollar. They married in Poetry, which is in Kaufman County, on April 17, 1868. They had one daughter, Florence Arminta "Mintie" Turner. Hannah died shortly after Mintie's birth. Mintie was raised by her Aunt, my gggrandmother, Margaret Elizabeth (Dollar) Franklin. I'm not sure what happened to John Turner after that. Does any of this sound familiar?
