Well, I'm afraid I can't help you much except to say that birth/death records are obtainable from the state. Check Vital Statistics Records for the State of Texas. Marriage records should be recorded in Karnes City at the County Courthouse for Karnes Co.
Now, Runge is not a big place. I really feel I knew everyone in the area when I lived there, and I do not recall any Chavez Family. Wish I could be of more help. Good Luck.
