Mrs. Barnett
Stamford: Mrs. D. L. BARNETT, 94, of Stamford, died Tuesday in Stamford Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for six years. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church in Stamford with the pastor, Rev. JACKIE BARNETT, officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Tuxedo cummunity with Holden-McCauley Funeral Home in charge.

Born July 8, 1877 in Alabama, she came to Texas with her parents in 1891 and they settled in Limestone County. She married Mr. Barnett in 1893 and they moved to Jones County in 1912. They moved to Stamford in 1941. He died Jan. 15, 1963. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, LEE, FREDDIE, adn JAY, all of Stamford; three daughters, Mrs. MARY HARVICK of Garland, Mrs. LILLY MCKENNON of Stamford, and Mrs. ALLIE MCKENNON of Abilene; one sister Mrs. ODIE WILLIAMS of Waxahachie, a brother SLIM REYNOLDS of Port Arthur, 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grandchildren. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
