Bush had its first post office in on 28 April 1904 with William H. Lee as postmaster. On 23 September 1908, James K. Derden became postmaster until the post office closed on 15 November 1909 according to the US Post Office records. The Bush Community according to the Anson and Stamford newspapers of the day was near Noodle.
