Mrs. S.L. Fleming owned the East Oliver Hotel in Stamford in 1926.
Mrs. S.L. Fleming from research was a niece of James Davis of Murfreesboro, Illinois.
She and her husband, S.L. Fleming had a son, Frank Fleming who was the night telephone operator in their hotel. In 1932, he attended Amarillo Junior College.
Looking through the four Stamford newspapers, at one time, there was no other mention of the Fleming surname from 1900-1937 of which I have transcribed.
