Joe Stewart was a friend of my parents in Hamlin TX. He was an artilleryman in WW2 and came home partially deaf. I was a child at the time.

To my knowledge he had no children and most of his family is also deceased.

Coincidentally, a recent issue of the Hamlin Herald had an article about Joe in their "From The Files " section. I did not save the article, but it has published within the last month.

Joe Stewart was a good man and my parents thought highly of him.
