Finleys in Jones County

Hello Fellow Enthusiasts!

I am researching the Finley family in Jones County from about 1900 to about 1940. I have some relatives that lived near Hamlin, the last of whom died in 1939. The names of these fine people were William B. Finley (died 1932), Lucy R. Finley (died 1939) and Lewis H. Finley (died 1937). Interestingly, enough they were all lifelong bachelors who lived together in a house on Hwy 92. Got this info from the 1920 and 1930 censuses. There were some earlier Finleys as well, namely James and Alma Finley, Hattie Finley Snow, etc. They are all buried in Afton Cemetery, right across the county line in Fisher County.

I know there are wills for William and Lucy in Anson--but they are extensive, and at a buck a copy, I want to pick what I want (or take my digital camera and take pics for free).

Does anyone have any information on this family? Also does anyone have any information on the "Grandma Finley, died in 1906" who is also buried at Afton. Any help would certainly be appreciated.

Thanks, Ted
