In your book, "History of Johnson County and Surrounding Areas by Viola Block, could you look and see if there is mention of the name: John Granville Mitchell-He came to Johnson Co. Texas about 1848 from Virginia with family and he later died (1913) in Arkansas but was visiting at that time. He had a lot of farming land there but I do not have a record of it.

Would thre also be the name: Mary Rebecca Mitchell? She was born: 1833 in Tenn. and died in 1941 in Ft. Worth but is buried in Cleburne, Texas.

I would be so appreciative of any information. By the way, would there be any(Johnson Co. Texas) Billingsley family(1800's) in that book?
