I only have info that I have gathered. With knowing that my Nancy Toumbs/Toombs married a Martin Hardin in Maury Co. Tennesse. I started checking the census. I found a Martin Harding with wife Nancy in Gibson Co. Tennesse. They had children Rebecca, John, Anne living with them. The lived next door to John Harding and wife Rebecca on one side and a William Harding on the other side. I believe that this was the Hardin's I was looking for. I then found them in the 1860 and 1870 census for Dyer county. In the 1880 census for Johnson co. Texas Nancy listed her parent as being from Virginia (Father) and Tennesse (mother). My Nancy's parents were John T. Toombs and Mary Weems. John was from Virginia and Mary from Tennessee. Nancy Toumbs/Toombs brother William Wylie Toumbs moved from Maury Co. Tn to Collin Co. Texas in the 1870's. That is the only info that I have. I was hoping that someone would be able to say for sure if this is my Nancy Toumbs/Toombs and Martin Hardin. Sorry that I could not be of more help on the matter.
