Looking For Amador Martinez
Posted by: Kenneth Thames (ID *****9753) Date: October 28, 2006 at 04:49:30
  of 69

Amador was born in Alice, Texas sometime in 1921 or 1922. Joined the US Navy during WWII and died a hero's death saving his shipmates who were washed overboard during a typhoon on December 18, 1944 in the Pacific. His parents were Eulalia (Salazar) and Tiofila Martinez. He had six brothers and sisters. We are in need of his date of birth so we can get a government monument to place at his mother's grave.
