John E. Westburg was born in Sweden 1-Dec-1859, he was married to Margaret Johnson ,born 27-June-1860 in Svaerdsjoe, Dalarna, Sweden, arrived in this county in 1882. They had two children born to them Ludvig Ferdinand, born in Dalesburg,Clay county,South Dakota on 6-Apr-1888, he married to Marian David of Beaumont,Texas in 1920. Ludvig died in 26-Dec-1945. The second child is Olivia Westburg born 20-Nov-1890 also in Dalesburg. She married to Alferd Hester Clapp on 17-Aug-1913, and they had two Children :namely Jane Eyre born 5-Jan-1915 and Kathryn Virginia born 23-Feb-1920. In October John E. Westburg moved with his wife and two children to El Campo,Wharton county,Texas. He had sold his farm to his parents who aganin sold the farm to their son Ephraim, but they lived on the farm till their death. The Father is Olof E. Westburg death was 13-Feb-1905 his wife died 11-Nov-1900.
