Tyrell Historical Library

Recently when I tried to go to the Tyrell Historical Library there was a sign on the door that read "Closed indefinitely due to damages sustained from Hurricane Rita." I called the city and asked why the library was closed and how long it would be before it reopened and was told that water got into the building and mold. Is there some foundation that helps restore historical libraries? It would be such a shame for this beautiful library to remain closed.
