Seeking the descendents of Vernon Sandsberry and May Sandsberry/Sandsbury listed in 1920 census of Jefferson County, Texas. Vernon Sandsberry was a Deputy Sheriff of Jefferson County. May Sandsberry married 2nd James William Hignett probably in Jefferson County sometime during 1920 and 1930, as she is listed as the wife of James Wiliam Hignett in the 1930 census of Jefferson County, Texas. It is believed one of the children of May and Vernon Sandsberry was adobted by James William Hignett.
