My exhusband is a redbone. What the person answering you has said is exactly what I was told it is. Somewhere down the line, a mixture of cajun and indian.
He lives in Groves, last name is Ratley, black hair and eyes, dark skin. More indian features as his mother has a lot of indian.
I don't recall any of his family having any negro features, although my daughter has a strange bone and hair structure. It is extremly coarse and thin but, blonde and straight.
Both of the daughters I had with him had light hair, one dirty blonde and one white, both VERY light skin and both black eyes. I am dark headed and eyed mixed spanish and white, so I have not a clue where their hair and skin orginated.
I hope I helped.....
