Dear Frances:

I checked the Death Index for Albert ( Bud ) Rushings for 1944 and it did not have any Rushings listed dying on the date you specified. How certain are you of the date, and where did you find the date. I checked the Beaumont Enterprise for Mr. Rushings as well. There was a Rushing from Harris County that looked promising. Are you certain that Rushings is the correct spelling for the last name? Please see these listings, and let me know if any of these people look familiar.

I looked in the 1943 Beaumont City Directory and these are the Rushings listed.

Rushing, Geo E ( Willa B ) bkpr Am Nat'l Bank, r. 1830 Washington Blvd.

Geo T. ( Hattie E ) whrsemn O'Neal Furn. Co. h 1830 Washington Blvd.

Howard A. USA r. 1830 Washington Blvd.

Porter ( Annie M ) 1) emp PA Ship Yds h 1207 Liberty Av. apt 4

Please take a look at these also, since many names were misspelled.

Rushion, Francis (c; Rosseanna) servmn Carl Markley Mtr. Co. r653 Gilbert.

Rushton, Albert ( Florence E. 1)emp Pa Ship Yds. h2025 Long

Albert E. jr USA r2025 Long Ave. *perhaps a match?
